FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Here’s a list of common questions asked by our clients…

  1. Yes – This is because external walls are usually the coldest, where both cold surfaces and warm internally circulating air meets with moisture to form mould. The black mould releases spores into the atmosphere and can pose problems for your health. Especially if you have any underlying health issues or allergies such as hay fever, asthma or other related illnesses.
  2. We can safely eliminate this problem by the application of anti-mould solution – which totally eradicates the problem. Keeping all householders healthy and well.
  1. We use special treatment paint with a powerful stain blocking properties. We first make good the surface – apply 2x coats of stain-block paint. This is then allowed to dry for at least 24hrs, after which time the finishing coat of matching paint can then be applied.

TMC operates a 24hr answer machine service – between the hrs of 1800 – 0800hrs. Answer machines will pick up all calls. Upon the arrival of the office staff, all calls will be responded to. All emergencies calls are prioritised.

All calls are promptly answered. However, if a call is picked up by the answering machine (if staff are out to lunch) we will return calls within 2hrs.

 

Yes – all estimates are provided free of charge. However, emergency callouts and all out of hours call-outs are charged at a fixed cost of £90 vat. This includes any work that can be repaired and completed in the first half-hour excluding materials. Thereafter our charge is £60 vat per hour.

If you cannot locate the internal stopcock-valve then the main water cut-off valve can be located outside of your property normally on the pavement. If you are unsure, make a quick call to your local water company, and they should be able to assist.
